Alabama ACTE Awards
Alabama Association for Career and Technical Education, in alignment with the National Association for Career and Technical Education, recognizes individuals who make extraordinary contributions to CTE, programs that exemplify high-quality standards, and organizations that have conducted activities to promote and expand CTE in Alabama.
ALACTE recognizes ten award categories, of which eight allow members to advance to higher levels of recognition with National ACTE. In addition to the application form, additional information on each award is included below.
ALACTE will begin accepting applications for the 2025 award cycle on March 25, 2025, and invites all prospective applicants to apply by May 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT.

*The Award of Merit is a state-level award and does not provide a pathway to higher levels of award consideration.
**ACTE’s Lifetime Achievement Award confers induction to the National ACTE Hall of Fame. Alabama ACTE also offers an ALACTE Hall of Fame Award, which is a separate award from that offered by National ACTE. More information is included in the application portal for those interested in either award category.
