Instructions for attending the Virtual Conference
After several weeks of excitement and anticipation, the Alabama Association for Career and Technical Education is pleased to announce that attendee portals are open for our 2020 ALACTE Virtual Conference! Below, you will find several points to assist you in navigating the attendee portal and our virtual platform:
1. To access your attendee portal, you will use this link and sign on using your conference registrant email address and the password ALACTE2020!
https://beeapp.bravuratechnologies.com/bee-web/?event=ALACTE2020#!/login
2. While sessions will not begin until Monday, November 16th, 2020, you may explore the sessions we are offering in the virtual meeting rooms or view exhibitor content in the virtual exhibit hall now.
3. Sessions can be filtered into eighteen distinct program areas using the 'track' button in the virtual program agenda. We are offering sessions in two unique categories: Live and OnDemand. Live sessions are held in real-time with a speaker, whereas OnDemand sessions have been recorded in advance for your enjoyment. Most of our sessions are occurring in the OnDemand format. This information can be found in the virtual agenda.
4. As most of our sessions can be viewed OnDemand after airing at their scheduled time, attendees are encouraged to view sessions outside of their program areas. Furthermore, after an OnDemand session comes available, it can be viewed at an attendee's preferred pace.
5. In working with over 200 speakers, we received content in a variety of ways. Once the conference has started and sessions begin opening, you will notice that some sessions are contained as file sharing links (Google Drive, DropBox, or Youtube). In order to view these sessions, be sure to view speaker uploads and documents for corresponding links!
6. For a comprehensive attendee guide from our conference provider, Bravura Technologies, view this PDF:
