Please be reminded that we are having the CTE Summer Conference in Mobile, AL July 24-26, 2024.  Additional details regarding using your PD funds, conference registration, room blocks, and a tentative agenda will be released soon.   I have attached a "Save the Date" flyer that I encourage you to share with your teachers, career coaches, counselors, and other educators that desire to attend. 
 
As I shared in our virtual winter meeting, we fully intend to re-engage the strong partnership with ALACTE.  The association is working hard to "right the ship" and I have full confidence that it will come out on the other side stronger than ever.  In the meantime, it is important that everyone understand that the CTE office of the ALSDE will ensure that all CTE educators will continue to have a high quality CTE Summer Conference with strong professional learning, networking opportunities, and important resources and materials necessary to continue to improve CTE education in Alabama.
